How about delving into this quick dinner idea or should I say snack idea? I considered this quick and easy french fries as healthy because it is baked and it is drench with olive oil, garlic and just a little bit of salt. I also have some left over rosemary from the Healthy Drinks – Flavored Water that I do not want to get wasted, so I tossed it in there too; which equates a very tasty and healthy fries. Pretty much my kids have been eating french fries for lunch and dinner. Does that make me a bad mother?
Before I will move on to the recipe, I will share with you about the outcome of my thorough emotional evaluation(please click for the whole story Healthy Breakfast- Raspberry ). So I went to the licensed psychologist, and I was evaluated properly. He said that I am not clinically depressed but rather I am in low grade depression. He scheduled me for 5 more visits to learn how to cope with hard circumstances. When he said he will not be able to see me next week because he will be away for a vacation, that is when I know that my case is not that serious. But there is one thing that bothered me in that visit. When the lady was giving all those paperwork to fill out, there was one paper that say, ” IF YOUR INSURANCE WILL NOT PAY FOR THIS VISIT, IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO DO SO.” Although I am pretty sure my visits will be covered, I asked how much is the cost per visit was. It was a whopping $ 200.00/ hour for the first session and then $ 160.00/ hour for the next. I was shocked! That is very expensive. All the doctor did on that session was asked me questions! How about those people who are struggling emotionally and have no means of insurance? What is gonna happen to them? I think that fee is ridiculous. That fee alone can lead me to utter emotional turmoil.
I do not know, but for you who may be suffering emotionally from depression and have no means of paying this ridiculous fee, talking to a pastor or a friend can really help. I believe that you can also talk to your school counselor. Whatever way you can to make you feel better, do that. There are also free depression hotline that you can call on. Here is the link Depression Hotline.
