GIFT IDEA ON VALENTINES DAY – HEARTY PIE

Here is a gift idea for him.A romantic idea on Valentines day and a twist for Pillsbury pie crust – here is a  hearty mini pie filled with raspberry preserves. I hope your partner will feel special.

GIFT IDEA ON VALENTINES DAY

My husband and I do not celebrate Valentines day because I thought it is expensive and unnecessary. Looking back, I realized that we do not celebrate this day because thinking and concocting idea to surprise my husband is just too much. In other words, I was too lazy to make an effort.

GIFT IDEA ON VALENTINES DAY

I admire those couple who think, plan and do the Valentines day surprise. And I am more amazed that their partners actually get surprise by their surprises – because it takes a lot for me to get surprised. Those events must have taken a lot of planning and thinking.

This Valentines day, I am surprising my husband with this mini heart pies. Although I have an inkling idea that he will not care about this,  but I am making it anyway because I have all the ingredients in the fridge- and they are going to stale if I do not use them. I making  this pie two days so that you can make it too  as a Valentines gift. I am not forcing you to do it, but I am just throwing the idea in there.

h3 Since I made these mini pies two days early, I will just freeze  it then on the night before Valentines day, I will let it sit on the counter. In the morning, he can eat them with his coffee. As for yourself, you can make him a fresh juice to go with this pies. Or, for the husbands, you can place it a small platter and sit it beside the roses. Simple idea but I think it will get you a hug from your partners.

GIFT IDEA ON VALENTINES DAY

I promise you. You will not get embarrassed by this present. The sweetness of the raspberry preserves mixed with the crust fitted with each other perfectly. It created a mild sourness and sweetness. It will awaken your sleeping taste buds. Or you can be more cheesy, tell him that the filling represents you oozing devotion and and the crust represent your bond  with each other 🙂
