A freshly blend of fresh fruits like (frozen) banana and fresh mango made up this super delicious smoothie. This Mango Banana smoothie is almost a replica of the Starbucks Mango Banana smoothie. I said almost because I skipped the Greek yogurt on this one and I chose a fresh mango to replace the mango nectar. Not a Starbucks copy-cat but it is at par to it in taste in spite of using a fresher ingredients. I’ve made this smoothie several times using Soya milk and Vit D milk but both yielded a great flavor. If you don’t want to have dairy in your smoothie, I made it with simple drinking water and it was still great and still sweet from the banana and mango. I tend to get bored very easily and in connection to that, I comfort myself by eating anything in the fridge. We all know that is not a very good idea health wise, so I always, stock fruits and vegetable in the fridge so that whenever the pang of hunger occurs, I have better option to munch. So I always slice the fruits and veggies ahead of time and stock them in the fridge so when a craving sets in, I have an easy option whether to blend my fruits and veggie or just simply eat it them right away. So this morning, this Mango Banana Smoothie was one of those options. It is so easy to make… you just blend it. The taste is so delicious. I used my pre-prepared frozen banana and I whole mango and I added a small amount of milk in it. This smoothie is creamy and the combination of the banana and mango is just so perfectly tasty. Don’t ever get me started with the wonderful aroma of this smoothie.. it is so good.
- 1 large mango
- 1 banana ( frozen the night before)
- ½ to 1 cup of milk (depending on how creamy you want it)
- Put all of the ingredients in a blender or bullet and blend.
