Vegan- 4 Ingredient Avocado Banana Smoothie is what I am needing right now. It is fast to make and very convenient TO-GO breakfast and very easy to carry around especially when you do not have time to sit down for breakfast. I usually pack it in a medium size container and sip it while driving. This is really delicious, I promise.
It is 2016 and this year, I am not making any resolutions. I have always made one and every time, I failed; so I am throwing in the towel this year and skip any forms of resolutions. This way, I will not feel like a failure at the end of the year. I will just let my life be and whatever happens, happens.
But this Vegan- 4 Ingredient Avocado Banana Smoothie did not just happen by whim. I intentionally prepared the banana and the fresh ingredients so that I can have a fresh drink in the morning. I tell yah, it is delicious and I thought I should start my post with a healthy streak after all of the fatty food and desserts I ate the last few weeks. The Chocolate Thumbprint Cookie with Caramel and the Chocolate Butter Walnut Blondie have to rest for a few weeks and I will make way for less sweets and smoothie like what I am sharing with you.
Look at that color. So green and fresh. Your doctor will be so happy to hear that you are drinking this smoothie. It has banana which is good for the heart’s muscle, almond milk for the bones, avocado for your cholesterol level and spinach for your brain.
Whewwww! I wish I am always good like this; you know drinking healthy smoothies and eating veggies for the whole year round, but gosh, it is so difficult…
This Vegan- 4 Ingredient Avocado Banana Smoothie starts with me freezing the over ripe banana the night before and storing the scraped avocado in the fridge. I put the avocado in my bullet container so that all I gotta do in the morning is add the Almond milk. Just like that, and this smoothie is going with me in the car, tucked in a small sized container with a straw as I enjoy it coolness and yummi-ness.
Don’t you want to grab that beauty right there? That green color, isn’t that very tempting? It is cold from the frozen banana and if you got spare time, scrape in some pomegranate to suck in and add in the chia seeds for extra boost of nutrition.
- ½ of frozen banana
- ½ or whole avocado
- handful of spinach
- ⅔ of Silk Almond Light Milk, sweetened Vanilla Flavor
- Scrape the avocado and put in a blender or bullet container. Add in the banana, spinach and milk. Blend until smooth
